Another way to practice Arban #18

get creative with simple exercises from the Arban's book

Just another way to practice the exercises made of crochets at the beginning section of your Arban book.

Couple of recommendations:

1. Be very diligent and careful with articulations (delicate but yet pointed tonguing).

2. Play every exercise in one breath, if possible.

A short demonstration of mine:

If you want to get even more creative, you can permutate this exercise in other scales, such as minor, diminished and augmented.

Disclaimer: This is taken from the book of the Austrian trumpeter Erich Rinner "My daily routines" (Koch Musikverlag 1997) and it is an adaptation of #18 in the Arban's book.
